Ingredients
5cupswater
5tea bagslike Lipton or Luzianne
1cupgranulated sugar (by taste)up to 1 1/2 cups
lemon or limeoptional
Instructions
Add water to a medium sized pot over high heat until boiling.
Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 10-20 minutes (the longer you steep, the stronger the tea).
Stir in sugar in increments until it completely dissolves into the hot tea and taste as you go.
Remove tea bags from the pot then pour the tea into a pitcher then add more water to fill it and serve with ice.
Notes
Feel free to go up to 6 tea bags if you prefer a stronger tea. Also you can steep longer to concentrate more flavor.
