Ingredients
5cupswater
5tea bagslike Lipton or Luzianne
1cupgranulated sugar (by taste)up to 1 1/2 cups
lemon or mintfor garnish
Instructions
Boil water in a medium pot. Remove from heat and add tea bags, steeping for 10-20 minutes.
Dissolve sugar into the tea, tasting as you go.
Remove tea bags, pour tea into a pitcher, and add more water to fill.
Serve with ice and lemon.
Notes
Feel free to go up to 6 tea bags if you prefer a stronger tea. Also you can steep longer to concentrate more flavor.
