Crockpot Beef Tips & Rice

Crockpot beef tips & rice is a comforting recipe that can be served any day of the week. Chunks of seasoned beef slow cook until tender and then served with cooked rice. This easy recipe that will people asking for seconds!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat or beef sirloin cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (or another dried herb)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cups cooked rice (for serving)
  • 1 tablespoons flour + 1 tablespoons water, optional. (to thicken)

Instructions

  • Add the broth, garlic, and seasonings to the slow cooker. Stir until blended. Add the beef.
  • Cook HIGH 3-4 hours or LOW 6-8.
  • In a small bowl mix together the flour and water. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker and stir. Cook an additional 10-15 minutes on HIGH or until gravy has thickened to your liking.
  • Serve over cooked rice.
