Ingredients

  • 0.13 oz Kool-Aid drink packet flavor of your choice
  • 1 cup Cool-Whip or homemade whipped cream
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 9 inch graham cracker crust

Instructions

  • Combine Kool-Aid packet and Cool Whip.
  • Gently fold in whipped cream until well mixed.
  • Pour filling into graham cracker crust.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a bright and fun finished pie, avoid really soft colors of Kool-Aid.  Go with bright colors to make sure they pop later on.

Tips for Making a Great Kool-Aid Pie Recipe

  • Soften Your Cool Whip: If you are using pre-made whipped topping, make sure you thaw it so it isn't hard and it blends perfectly in your mix ingredients.
  • Fold Don't Overmix: Gently fold your ingredients together so you don't get rid of the airy texture.
  • Don't Skip Chilling: Make sure you put that pie in the fridge so it sets up perfectly. I personally like to make mine the night before I want to serve it so it slices perfectly.

How to Store It

It will last in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Just make sure it is covered and kept in something airtight. You can also pop it in the freezer for up to 2 months too!
