How To Make Pork Chops In The Air Fryer

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
  2. Rinse & pat the pork chops dry. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush both sides of each pork chop with the oil. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops. Gently rub the seasonings into the meat.
  3. Add the seasoned pork chops to the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
  4. Cook 12-15 minutes, flipping the chops halfway through. The exact cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your pork chops and the how your air fryer heats. You’ll know the pork chops are done when the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for a 5 minutes. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

FAQs & Tips

  • Store leftover air fried pork chops in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • How long your pork chops need to cook will vary depending on your air fryer’s model and the thickness of the pork chops.
  • I suggest using boneless pork chops that are approximately 1-inch thick. This thickness will ensure even cooking.
  • Do not overlap the pork chops in the air fryer basket. If the pork chops do not fit in a single layer in the basket, cook them in batches.
