How To Make Beef Chili
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion and cook, crumbling the meat as it cooks, until no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Add garlic and cook an additional minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes, chili powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix well.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for approximately 20 minutes.

I like to add red kidney beans which is what I used here. Ultimately, whether you choose to add beans to chili depends on your personal preferences and dietary needs. You don’t want to use beans in this beef chili recipe, simply omit them.
